yesterday I posted this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , just to highlight that the real world is far more drab. observe my neighbours on either side with three white cars each flanking my singular black car.
i w as out and about strolling today because amazon said my new headphones had been delivered, but alas.... not there. nor on either of my neighbour’s porches whose house numbers are only 1 different to my own and whose packages I have incorrectly received multiple times.

Our neighbors on the next street over in our neighborhood have the same house number as we do. We have been exchanging mis-delivered mail for the last 20 years, even overnight packages that say signature required on them. Sigh. At least they’re nice folk.

I like the blues and red Acura has now with the A Specs, man they pop, pop pop! If I ever repainted my wagon I would totally get one of those new colors, can I have an A Spec engine too?

Dad drives the infiniti. Mom drives the pathfinder, and their grown kid with a full time job but still lives at home drives the C class. It’s a lease.

My neighbours mostly go for white, silver or black cars with the only coloured cars, mostly being reds (or variation of...) .
but people do go for other colours, but again, it’s either red, or blue.

Honestly, thought I’d be here 6 years max. Funny how life works. If I could find the right job. I’d love to move back to the Midwest, especially if I could be close to family. I wanted to be closer to my Mom and Dad. Now it’s just Dad, and I’m feeling farther away than ever.

No point in moving to another place as long as we stay in Dallas though. This is a great neighborhood. We're planning our Halloween block party now (Covid-safe, of course).

Hehe that’s a lot of cars. Are they all white? Just thought the Merc looked out of place.
My parent’s house looks pretty hectic when we are all home. A dingy silver Volvo XC90 and a dark gray Ford Fusion on the muddy grass with a red Chevy Cruze newly in the carport with my dad's massive green Toyota Tundra poking out.

Yeah, it’s been a tough time.
I doubt if anyone will crunch the numbers, but I wonder, by the end of all
this,
just how many people will have not had the opportunity to be with their parents shortly before their passing, whether due to them dying from the virus or because travel or access was restricted due to safety concerns. It’s so sad.

Glad you found a good community. We had good friends who were neighbors for almost a decade, but now 2 or the 3 families (us included) have moved. I love our new home out in the country, but I do miss special moments in the neighborhood.

We’ve had families move from our court and new ones move in. We’ve managed to mostly keep the atmosphere we like though. For a while, we had 6 or 8 kids under 12 years running around, playing games, setting up lemonade stands, while we grown ups sat and drank and just hung out. Spontaneous weekend block parties would just happen, and the folding tables and grill came out. My 50th birthday party was held in the street, also my wife’s 50th and my daughter’s first communion party. Plus so many other kids’ birthdays.

Probably one that replaces cars every 2-3 years and likes to mix it up, but like in a reall I’ll boring way. In other words people that lease
